Every four years something amazing happens; we get an extra day added to our calendar! Not only is that neat but I also know someone who is born on Leap day, my sister in-law, Marissa. Since discovering my strange relation to the Robinson's I have been able to help plan two exciting birthday bashes for Marissa. This time around I was in charge of the food and taking care of the kids before the party. This was a lot of running around. Luckily, I had Jessica as my PIC (partner in crime) to help me get things ready for the party. Blu took Marissa out so that we could "surprise" her with an awesome party when they got back from their date. Jessica and I gathered the kids up in the van got balloons, ingredients for guava cupcakes and funeral potatoes, and to get gifts from the kids. Our time limit was from 3 o' clock till 7. FOUR hours to get everything ready! We were crunched on time but Jess and I pulled through like champs. Everything was ready by the time every one arrived at the Robinson's for the party. My dad provided the party with his awesome BBQ chicken. A fun time and full bellies were had by all.
The food was so great even Waldo tried to sneak some food, but got caught.
